EVALUASI PROGRAM SMART EKSELENSIA INDONESIA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL EVALUASI CIPP

Abstract

Education issues closely related to poverty so that the fulfillment of access to education must be
considered to ensure the welfare of society. A variety of affordable schools are often have a limited quality,
while the good quality schools are not easily accessible by the poor. Dompet Dhuafa through SMART Ekselensia
Indonesia (SMART EI) program tries to meet community needs for affordable and quality school. The quality of
SMART EI need to be proved by measurements so it is not considered limited to claims. This study is an
evaluative research with program evaluation and analysis approach. Methods used in this study are CIPP model
(context, input, process and product), that are confirmed by the target to measure the program effectiveness. The
results showed that the evaluation of the context, input, output and outcome components is quite good, while the
process evaluation were categorized as good. Although the evaluation showed that the assessment of the
educational component of SMART EI in general is quite good, but improvements are still needed for better
performance in the future.
